 ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Cyelowyn and I love to make things

I am so delighted that you have decided to visit my website and take a look at my work, thank you for your time and attention in this crazy, busy world. As you can surely tell from my wide variety of art objects (though Many have not made the cut to be featured on this website) I love to experiment and try new things. I have tried just about every art media I could get my hands on in my twenty-five years and that drive to know more and to create better has led me down some very interesting roads.

I went to high school in Linesville, PA, where I enrolled in the CCCTC and took the Commercial Arts course, acquiring my graphic design certification, along with many of the tools I needed to become the artist I am today. I then went to art school and got my BFA in Illustration with a Metals minor in Detroit, MI from the College for Creative Studies. While attending CCS I refined my drawing and painting skills and discovered my love of metalworking and 3D modeling. I had a wonderful job working in the CCS Metalshop where I rounded out my metalsmithing education by learning how to fabricate steel. My education was capped by a plague and I spent my last semester sequestered in my room, until I graduated in 2020.

After art school life chugged along for a few years while I worked at Look in the Attic and Co. in MI. There, I handled a number of responsibilities, including designing a workflow for the production of one of their main items, as well as hand-finishing their cast brass products.

During a major life shift, I have found myself in the wonderful position of being able to open a shop in Andrews, NC. This is the peak of my goals for the moment! I am here, for you dear reader, just waiting to put my years of art knowledge and training to the test on whatever project your unique and creative mind has to offer. I have experience with woodworking and antique repair, as well as photography and video editing, should those become relevant to your projects. Thank you for your time! Please send me a message if you have any questions for me or if you want to commission a work of art!
